  • The protagonist of our story, Ambika, is truly a wonder womaniya. She is witty, sarcastic and a character that you will fall in love with. Her dialogues will make you laugh and think at the same time, such is the effect of her delivery. She is a joyful human being, enjoying every bit of life. But life isn’t fair, is it? There is a calamity, or more, that falls onto her life, turning it upside down. She is still determined to do good and serve the human kind. Her life’s motto- as she says- is 3M: Memes, Momos and Munnas. And she gets to fullfill everything. There is a need of stories of such personalities coming out. These are truly inspiring. Most of the story is comprised of punchlines that are in Hindi. They could been written in English but the impact would be barely anything of what there is now. So we do feel bad about non-hindi readers.
  • The story begins with a female stand-up comedian taking a troll about women safety, fake feminism and things. The start is strong and so is the rest of the story. Dr. Sohil’s writing is straightforward and entertaining. Female’s stories written by male authors rarely makes an impact but Wonder Womaniya makes a difference. There’s a sense of feeling- “Arey ha! We have seen such things happening almost every day.” For instance, take Chotu’s character. How many of us women have been eve teased by a Chotu in our lives? Or take Amar’s character. He convinces Ambika to marry her. But when she wasn’t able to give him what he needed, he left her alone, blaming her for everything. Did he not truly love her that the only thing that mattered was that she couldn’t give him what he needed. Think how many times have we seen such an event with someone we know. There are so many more stigma topics that have been put remarkably in this tale.
  • In today’s time, we feel that Wonder Womaniya is one such book that no one should miss.
  • A Truly Inspiring and Entertaining Tale!
