A Kiss In Kashmir Book Review

  • Sharmila visits Kashmir with her daughter, Alina, in an attempt to make her connect to the land of her father’s home. She keeps convincing Alina to have her wedding there. There, they cross paths with a man named George. Sharmila is a painter, a really great one, and George is a professor living in Kashmir. And there begins their journey in Kashmir, through all the crooks and nooks.
  • The description of Kashmir in this book is just so beautiful. Monica Saigal excelled in taking us through the streets of Kashmir. It all felt so surreal and serene. Nobody could have done it better. Falling in love with the place was inevitable.
  • Sharmila and George, the two protagonists, are great characters on their own. Sharmila’s character came out to be of a strong independent woman who is also vulnerable when alone or in her comfort place. It just seemed like a relatable character. Likewise, George’s character too. His pain was felt through the lines, the way he lost hope in everything, but he was still surviving, fighting through his inner demons.
  • Can two people, broken in their own ways, heal together and make something of their own? Be sure to pick this book up only if you are ready to go on this emotional ride.
  • Good things come into your life when you are least expecting it. The same can be said for love. It doesn’t matter what your age is, or where you are. It can just hit you out of nowhere and become the happiest accident of your life.
  • The cover justifies the story and the vibe and the title totally sets our expectations over the moon. A Kiss in Kashmir is a delightful story of beautiful lands, love, and second chances. And we recommend it to all the romance readers.
