“Maybe we all are just stories of time spent a certain way.”
Silent Verses is a enchanting collection of evocative poems taking you on a journey of varied emotions. Exploring different themes like love and family, the poems are a glimpse to the poet’s deepest thoughts and feelings.
“Not every story can have a happy ending, but at least we can have a happy story.”
Divided in 4 chapters, each chapter covers a different theme. Existence; about identity and self discovery. Love; about painful memories of having loved and lost; Family; of loving memories of family members and Journey; about the journey called Life. Each theme has poems with different moods. Each poem feels like narrating a different chapter of the story.
The poems themselves are some of the poet’s untapped emotions or his deepest musings expressed penned in poetry; poetry capturing the existential crisis or the pain of a heartbreak or the sorrow of the loss of a loved one or the futility of life. Love, hope, anguish, hopelessness, melancholy each poem evokes a different emotion bringing it to life.
“Not every story can have a happy ending, but at least we can have a happy story.”
What I liked most about the poems is the raw and relatable emotions that will resonate with the readers. As a reader, You can relate to most of the experiences making this journey as much as yours as the poet’s.
“And even before I have lived, they ask for my legacy,
even before I have loved they seek words for my epitaph.”
Overall, Silent Verses is a soulful collection of poems that will take the readers on a poetic journey; one that you will never forget. A great read for poetry lovers.

Review :
First of all, isn’t the cover the prettiest?? I fell in love with it at first glance.
This is a beautiful poetry collection divided in four parts – Existence, Love, Family, Journey. The main four aspects of our life. And through all these talks about emotions, experiences and musings, hope, self-love and desires.
The book is only 65 pages long and a poetry collection, so you can just finish it in one sitting. But this is also that kind of book which while reading makes you feel all kinds of feelings, very relatable and makes you think a lot too.
The very lines which struck me first and totally hook me with these poems –
“Scared by my own means,
wasted by my own dreams.
I still recycle words to
balance, the sore reality of my
time.
as if, waiting for somebody to
come home
And rescue me from myself.”
Then also the book ends with some really hopeful notes –
“But yet before it ends,
I ask of you, not maybe but
most definitely,
If fate is indifferent to what
we want,
then what more can fear do to
you,
if you just decide, to let go.”
So if you’re a poetry lover, or want to delve into this genre and try to find something simple , short yet thoughtful, this is it.

Silent Verses is one of my favourite poetry collection. The book is divided into 4 parts…one talk about existence, the next one talks about love and the last two talks about family and journey.
This collection has about 25 poems and all of them are quite unique… though I like micro poems more but this collection contain long ones, I do enjoy them.
What I enjoy most about this collection is the poet’s imagination…the words are so beautifully written, it’s so easy to understand, to connect, to relate, and to dwell on it. I love all the poems same but if I have to choose a favourite I will go with “Ontogenesis”
& obviously this beautiful cover is what make me start reading this beauty ????✨
