“Life is for Living” by Shailesh Kumar is a touching story about Shiva’s journey from being a teenager to becoming an adult. It talks about his life with family, friends, and love during the 90s and 2000s. The book makes you feel like you’re right there with Shiva, experiencing all the ups and downs with him.

The writing style is so good that it feels like I was actually living in Shiva’s world. I could see the laughter and feel the emotions on every page.

Shiva’s strength and growth throughout the story remind us of the importance of love, determination and family. It made me think about my own life and the people I care about.

“Life is for Living” isn’t just a book; it’s an experience that will stay with me even after I’ve finished reading it.

Shiva, a young 7 year old boy, living in the city of Prayagraj, went to attend the Maha Shivratri Kumb Mela with his family👦🛝🎠🏟🎢.
There, he almost drowned but was protected by his brother 🥰. He was fond of kite flying and was among the experts 🪁. He went to a school where he had no friends so he was neither interested in attending school nor in studies 🎒📚 ❌. His father recognized his need and then changed his school. In the new school, everything was going well, until he met a girl named Rasheeda, they used to go to the school in the same tempo but then her father transferred and they moved away and he couldn’t even meet her for the last time. 🥲 But it changed something in him and now he was excelling in studies and ranked among the toppers 😳. No sonner, everything took turns, the fate bought them together and the story turned all over 😃✨

The feelings of love, friendship, relationship is described in this. The regret of not saying the things in our minds to our friends and them leaving and we left with regret is also expressed 🙁the impact of being alone and not having friends and how it effects us negatively. The fight for love and the excitement and craziness behind it, how we are ready to do anything and sacrifice our everything without giving any thought about about others. 🙁

The book is divided into many chapters. It was engaging and the story, it had nothing different but it was good to read 🥰
Although, the chapters were really long and seemed like some information not very needed was added to extend the story. 👎
Overall I liked reading this and could relate at most parts.🥰
